September 8, 2017, 4:16pm. Grand Theft. 27 year old Caucasian male, 5 9, was caught on camera slipping silver necklace into pants. The suspect had no bags or loose clothing and the necklace was not immediately recoverable for the store staff. The suspect was then taken from the floor by the loss prevention officer for questioning. While in custody, the suspect displayed incredibly aggressive behavior, answering questions flippantly and disrespectfully. The suspect denied any possession of stolen goods. A pat down and strip search revealed no merchandise, but a final cavity search resulted in the necklace being recovered. An understanding was reached by the suspect and the loss prevention officer, and he was released without involvement of law enforcement. $1,200.00 retail value recovered for the store without incident.
