Story

November 11, 2017, 3:00pm. Petty Theft. 20 year old Caucasian male, 58, came into the clothing store and picked up several items. Suspect brought these items into the fitting room. Upon leaving, the sales staff noticed a lesser number returned than were brought in. The manager reviewed the closed-circuit cameras and referred the case to the loss prevention officer, who quickly detained the suspect. While in custody, the young man was patted down and strip searched, which resulted in the recovery of several unpurchased items. An understanding was reached by the suspect and the loss prevention officer, and he was released without involvement of law enforcement. $36.49 retail value recovered for the store without incident.
